Virgil Abloh is leaving his imprint on the city in more ways than one this summer: With Chicago already abuzz over the highly anticipated debut of Virgil Abloh: "Figures of Speech" at the MCA, Louis Vuitton is adding to the excitement around its men's artistic director with a "Chicago residency” in the West Loop carrying Windy City exclusives from the French label.
The temporary space is located at 1100 W. Randolph
Visitors to the temporary space—located at 1100 W. Randolph and running June 8-July 7—can explore a limited-edition selection of flashy, all-orange wares designed by Abloh and available only in Chicago, including sneakers, leather goods and more. Attendees will also have early access to Louis Vuitton's men's Fall/Winter 2019 collection ahead of its wider launch in mid-July.
