Explore thousands of original works by over 115 emerging and independent artists from Chicago and across the globe at the upcoming The Other Art Fair Chicago, presented by Saatchi Art. Hosted from March 27 through 30, the eclectic fair at Artifact Events (4325 N. Ravenswood Ave.) features shoppable art, live experiences, a bar and bites from local food vendors.
On opening night, visitors can enjoy interactive workshops, guest artists, DJ sets, unique installations, food trucks and more.
Throughout the week, guests can explore returning experiences like New York Times bestselling author Anna Marie Tendler’s House of Self portrait exhibit, two interactive installations with complementary artwork, workshops, DJ sets, performances, community-led showcases and more.
New this year, an artisan section showcases a dozen artists with ceramic, glass, metal and wood decorative artwork.
Since launching in 2011, the annual gathering has brought cutting-edge artwork, installations and performances to cities across the globe. Today, the Other Art Fair has worked with over 3,000 artists from more than 20 countries and now hosts 12 fairs annually across the U.K., the U.S. and Australia.
By partnering with Saatchi Art—the online art gallery that houses over one million original paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographs—the seventh Chicago edition of the fair provides visitors with the opportunity to meet and interact with rising and established artists while gaining a broader understanding of their creative processes, the inspiration behind their art and their mediums of choice.
