After its initial announcement in September of 2021 and more than three years of development, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has finally launched his namesake apparel brand.
Co-founded with Frame jeans owner Jens Grede and Dao-Yi, owner of street-savvy clothing brand Public School, Brady incorporates the collective experiences of its designers to develop an athleisure brand ready for top-tier performance or casual hangouts on the couch.
“After years in the making, I’m excited to finally share Brady with the world,” Tom Brady is quoted in a press release. “Working with a best-in-class team has helped me apply everything I’ve learned throughout my career to create a multi-functional brand that incorporates the best in tech, fabric and innovative design.”
The first drop of the Brady brand clothing line includes two collections called the “Train System” and the “Live System.”
The Train System is “built to move, breathe, and sweat,” and consists of a collection of high-performance fabrics that range from outerwear, tee shirts, tank tops, pants and shorts. With features including Zero Weight, Breathe Easy mesh, Cool Touch technology, and weather resistance, the Brady brand has aimed to craft the ideal work-out clothing line.
The Live System, on the other hand, is designed more for everyday living. The collection is composed of functional performance pieces tailored with specialized designs for movement, 3D knits, zero microplastics, and structured stretch. Similar to the Train System, Live also includes outerwear options as well as tee shirts, hats, pants and shorts.
Prices for Brady clothing items range anywhere from $20 to $495, and the color swatches remain mostly neutral in black, greys, greens and blues—although there are a few pops of neon. Both the Train and Live system clothes are available now via the Brady brand website.
Although this is Tom Brady’s first official clothing line, this is not the legendary quarterback’s first time working in the fashion industry. He’s appeared in commercials for FootLocker and Uggs, as well as crossover collaborations with Subway, Daily MVP and Hulu.
