Over the last few years, there has been a huge surge in jewelry trends, from everyday statement pieces to classic gold hoops. Lisa Gozlan is at the forefront of the jewelry industry with her company, Lisa Gozlan Jewelry.
Launched in 2019, Gozlan was on a mission to create unique designs and high-quality jewelry at an affordable price. With a background in personal styling, there was no better person to bring cutting-edge jewelry to market, with a new and unique eye.

Gozlan works alongside her husband, a fifth-generation jeweler, with over 50 years of experience. Gozlan explained that the idea for Liza Gozlan Jewelry was sparked by a solid 10KT Gold ring that Gozlan had seen in her husband's office, and since then has created some of the most viral and trend-forward jewelry pieces on the market.
We had the chance to catch up with Gozlan to learn more about her ideation process, success and next steps.
You have come up with some of the most unique designs on the market, what is your ideation process?
We always strive to be innovative and ahead of the curve. As both Ryan and I have always had an eye for trends and fashion, the two go hand in hand. We draw inspiration from all over, past, present, and future trends. Much like a designer of a major fashion house, we refer to the Gozlan family archives to draw inspiration from 50 years’ worth of designs. We are always aiming to create timeless, unique pieces that are cross generational.
Let’s talk about the viral, Happy Face Bracelet. Why do you think consumers fell in love with this specific design?
We loved creating our happy face collection. The happy face has always been a universal symbol that applies to all ages. We launched early in the pandemic and found these bracelets brought joy to people when they needed it most. We intended these bracelets to be an easy way to elevate people’s spirits and style. The price point was also key, as it made these fun and unique designs attainable.
What role does social media and influencer marketing play in your brand?
Social media has played a vital role in our business. It has helped grow our brand exponentially by allowing us to interact with customers in ways that weren’t previously possible. We utilize platforms such as Instagram and Tik Tok to promote new products, updates, events, advertise and establish influencer relations. As new social platforms become available, we will continue to expand our social media presence.
What would you describe as your breakthrough moment?
My breakthrough moment was when we were offering local pick up at our home. This was a special time because we started seeing and getting a real feel for who our customers were. It was also incredibly rewarding to hear their thoughts and feedback. I can specifically recall meeting a customer and having them tell me that everyone in the city of Toronto with a Cartier bracelet is wearing our smiley face bracelet. To be mentioned alongside such a prestigious jewelry house was such an incredible and humbling moment for us.
What can we expect next from Lisa Gozlan Jewelry?
We opened our first brick and mortar showroom boutique in Yorkville, an elite shopping district in the heart of Toronto. Having a physical store has been an incredible touch point for our customers. It has really helped to establish a heightened level of trust with new and existing clientele. As our consumer base continues to grow across North America, we see demand for a US outpost. In 2022 we intend to expand our footprint into the United States. Stay tuned for details on our upcoming trunk shows, specifically this March ;)
