Glencoe. “When my two children were young, I moved from the city to Highland Park so they could experience all the wonderful things the North Shore has to offer. Now I’ve made Glencoe my home because of the area’s natural beauty and close proximity to the lake, the Botanic Garden, Writers Theatre and so much more.”
GO-TO SPOT
“Jayson Home (1885 N. Clybourn Ave., 773.248.8180) for furniture, vintage finds and great home accessories; the rooftop at Soho House (113-125 N. Green St., 312.521.8000)—I feel like I’m on vacation whenever I take in those panoramic views of Chicago; and Avli (566 Chestnut St., Winnetka, 847.446.9300). My husband and I eat there every Monday night. We both love Greek food, and when we walk in, the staff greets us like family.”
