Luxury leather goods company Mark Cross has been around since 1845, but the American heritage brand’s purses have a decidedly modern flair, says Chicago style icon Ikram Goldman, who calls its latest offerings essential for the new style season.
“First of all, the collection is absolutely made to perfection,” says Goldman. “I felt it was time for a really beautiful, classic bag that stands the test of time, and when I saw these, I thought, ‘I can have this on my shelf for years and never be bored with it.’ That’s what I want in a bag. The Plexiglas bags are very classic and vintage. The raffia is the chicest, most classic way to do a straw bag. And the pink—I just love the color; it’s so fresh and new.
