7 of Harry Styles Most Dazzling Gucci Moments

By: Haley Bosselman By: Haley Bosselman | May 16, 2022 | Culture Style & Beauty

Harry StylesHarry Styles headline Coachella 2022.

Harry Styles has come a long way since his One Direction days of plain tees and skinny jeans. Since going solo, the singer has certified himself as the most glamorous rocker in music by cultivating a wardrobe of endless Gucci ensembles thanks to a well-established friendship with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele.

As he gears up for the release of Harry’s House on May 20 (which will no doubt sprout a number of more great Gucci looks), we’re looking at Styles’ best Gucci moments.

Met Gala 2019

As co-host of fashion’s biggest night, Styles had to bring his A-game. Taking on 2019’s camp theme, he tasked the Italian fashion designer and longtime collaborator for an elegant look with a cheeky twist. Modest in black slacks and loafers, Styles leveled up in a pearl earring and sheer, lace ruffled top.

Certifying his presence in luxury fashion, Styles was the face of Gucci’s Men’s Tailoring Cruise 2019 campaign. Under the direction of Christopher Simmonds, it captures the line’s mixing of patterns, color, patches and unusual proportions while contrasting against Villa Lante’s cascades, fountains, sculptures and grottoes. And aren’t the lambs, goats and piglets just too cute?

Styles stirred up quite the frenzy in the lacey dress he wore on the cover of Vogue’s December 2020 issue. All that we care about though is he looked suave as ever, and the shoot actually captured a big moment in fashion history. It was the first time the legendary publication ever had a solo male cover star.

You can always count on Styles to give a— yes— stylish spin to a look. Having well-established his Halloween concerts as fancy dress extravaganzas, he came dressed as Dorothy of The Wizard of Oz complete with custom Gucci ruby slippers (which actually happen to be a zip-up boot if you look closely).

Love on Tour

Embracing the vibrance of each performance, Styles treated fans to a number of Gucci looks night after night during his recent Love on Tour run. It would be hard to choose just one of his great ensembles from the entire string of shows, but we consider ourselves big fans of his sparkling, hot pink tour opener look.

Coachella 2022 Weekend 1

When Styles took the Coachella stage during Weekend 1, he was the first headliner to grace the main stage for three years. The pressure was on, and Styles had the perfect outfit to assure new and longtime fans they were in for a great show. Bringing together the glam of Aretha Franklin (the coat!) and the flamboyance of Freddie Mercury (the jumpsuit!), Styles wowed at music’s most legendary festival.

Was Styles’ Weekend 2 look better? That is for you to decide. He brought the same glamor in a lively feather pink Gucci coat, which was later complemented by Lizzo’s orange one. Upon the coat’s dismissal, Styles revealed a metallic pink and silver cowboy-like three piece that included a vest embellished with two large strawberries.
