A fresh take on a beloved American staple is coming to the West Loop. For quick but high-quality treats, visit JARS, a new gourmet dessert concept by Fabio Viviani, a celebrated culinary artist who has appeared on Top Chef. The eatery will open at 905 W. Fulton Street in September.
For something sweet, JARS is the place to be. Served in reusable glass jars, a rotating menu of gourmet desserts of all kinds — tiramisu, cannoli, fritters, pies, crusts, and more — will go down easy, along with coffee and soft-serve ice cream.
In addition to the classics, the gourmet eatery will offer exciting flavor combinations. Try fan favorites like red velvet cheesecake or fun twists like Oreo cream pie. Pair Viviani’s sweets with gourmet coffee beverages for a perfectly rounded-out flavor experience.
The restaurant and cafe will delight dessert-lovers, coffee-lovers, natives, and tourists alike. JARS will be as Instagrammable as it is delicious, including creative culinary presentations, delectable bites, and a fun, family-friendly environment.
“JARS is a perfect blend of my passion for serving amazing, crave-able bites with picture-perfect presentation and creating a memorable experience for everyone who walks in the door," says Viviani, according to the press release.
JARS is the first fast-casual dessert concept by chef and media personality Viviani. Boasting 1,500 square feet, the eatery is prepared to welcome the masses this fall. The Chicago location will be JARS’ flagship bakehouse, paving the way for other locations to come.
"Starting with Chicago, our goal is to partner with select franchisees nationwide and have at least one JARS store in each of the top 50 markets within the next 3 years,” Viviani says, according to the press release.
The founder, chef, and Italian native, Fabio Viviani, is already an established restaurateur, best-selling cookbook author, and TV host. Since 2005, Viviani has lived in America, appeared on several shows on the Bravo network, including Top Chef and Top Chef: All Stars, and opened a variety of renowned eateries across the nation.
