It’s a new year and the dawn of a new era for Donna Karan New York, but it’s one that comes with bold respect for the past.
The celebrated women’s label just relaunched with its Spring 2024 collection and campaign. Dubbed “In Women We Trust,” it takes its cues from the label’s most iconic pieces throughout the decades, reimagining classic styles and silhouettes for the modern woman.

To underline that point, the campaign features eight women who’ve served as the fashion brand’s faces throughout the years. Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam, Karlie Kloss and Liya Kebede were all shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, dressed to impress in DKNY’s Spring 2024 best.

“Donna represents strength and sensuality,” Evangelista is quoted in a press release. “You can be whoever you want to be.”
The Spring ‘24 collection is all about accessible luxury with pieces designed as the bedrock to a modern woman of style’s wardrobe. The pieces are based on vintage and archival looks from the DKNY, culminating in what the brand calls the “seven easy pieces” which can be mixed and matched in a variety of fabrics and neutral shades to create comprehensive fits.
All the hallmarks are there, from cotton shirt dresses to DKNY’s signature bodysuits, sleeveless dresses, lightweight blazers and more. The collection comes to life in black, white and a range of new neutrals, including fawn and chalk, rose quartz and tourmaline. For fabrics, the collection uses charmeuse, nylon, knits, soft leathers, satin. and jacquard.

The tailoring, draping and quality exude a luxurious air that fits into any lifestyle, and the collection is completed with a range of accessories and non apparel.
“[Donna Karan] introduced a new style of power dressing, which celebrated women and their bodies,” Crawford is quoted. “That was her sweet spot, and it still is.”
