On April 2, the Women’s Board of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association and the Symphony Ball Committee hosted the annual spring Symphony Ball.

A VIP preconcert reception was held in Buntrock Hall before the main concert at the symphony center. Music was directed by director Riccardo Muti, and the soloist was Elīna Garanča.

Works performed included pieces by Gioachino Rossini, Gustav Mahler and Mozart. CSOA Board Chair Mary Louise Gorno attended the event along with Women’s Board President and Symphony Ball co-chair Judy Feldman.

350 guests attended the event, which culminated with a post-concert gala hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel with dinner, dancing and other festivities like a specially designed photo wall of de Gournay wallpaper. The ball raised $1,200,000 for CSOA’s programs.
