On July 11, 2019, Oak Park-born multihyphenate Busy Philipps brought her irresistible magnetism back to Chicago, toasting her July/August cover of Michigan Avenue with a Celebrity Cruises-sponsored fete at Bodega in River North. “You gave me the unique opportunity of being interviewed by one of my close friends, the jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth,” remarked Philipps of her cover story to the hip crowd, which imbibed Peroni lagers, Cape Line Sparkling Cocktails and FINO Tequila sips throughout the night. “It really elevated the conversation, and, also, it’s just a more fun way to do press than hanging out with a stranger.”
