Buenos Aires' New Nightlife

Buenos Aires, Argentina’s vibrant and sophisticated capital, is a leading cultural destination in Latin America, and the world capital of tango. Florería Atlántico – Located on one of Buenos Aires’ most elegant streets, Florería Atlántico is a beautiful flower and wine shop that also sells vinyl records and some gourmet food items. But get past a fridge door and down a staircase, and you’ll find a stunning bar whose décor is inspired by the early 20^th century and is a nod to Buenos Aires’ past as an immigrant port. Florería Atlántico is one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, which also voted its founder ‘world’s best bartender’ in 2020.

Presidente – Another of The World’s 50 Best Bars, Presidente is located in an elegant period building in a stately neighborhood. If you’re looking to try some of the bar’s traditional cocktails, request to pass through to the “secret” library whose décor and original features exude character.

Boca Abajo - Boca Arriba – This laundromat hides a cozy new wine cellar in the basement that also hosts special dinners that are prepared in its open kitchen on Saturday nights. This is a creative space where different chefs, bartenders, and sommeliers are invited to work together to curate special tasting menus with wine and cocktail pairings.

La UAT – Led by one of the better-known names of Buenos Aires’ bar scene, this new speakeasy lies just past a plastic curtain behind a neighborhood rotisserie with a décor that harks back to the 80s complete with a disco ball.

Victoria Brown – This daytime café in one of Buenos Aires’ trendiest neighborhoods hides a secret cocktail bar that opens in the evenings. The sumptuous décor blends elements from the industrial revolution like moving pistons with Victorian glamor.
