4. The Dearborn

The reopening of The Dearborn brings with it traditional Irish dishes. Fish and chips from chef Aaron Cuschieri, corned beef reuben, seafood chowder and beef and lamb shepherd’s pie are on the menu this March. 5. Funkenhausen

Newly reopened Chicago beer hall Funkenhausen offers an in-house brew made by 18th Street Brewery, Schnitzengiggle or German favorites like the Ayinger, Krombacher or Hofbräu in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. On the side, sample its A Big Garlicky Pretzel with pimento cheese and white barbecue sauce, or try the bratwurst with Brussels sprouts, sweet mustard and pickled red onions.
