Chicago's Greek restaurant scene is having a moment. Here are eight of the best Greek restaurants across the city.

The eatery sits steps away from Logan Square park where guests can drop in for brunch, dinner or drinks. The eatery also hosts a handful of events, such as Easter dinner and dinner fundraisers. 2542 N. Milwaukee Ave., 773.365.1900

Athena
For Instagram-worthy plates that taste as good as they look, head to Athena. Located in Greektown, the spot has been around since 1997, and its Athens-inspired decor draws in guests just as much as the food. Eat under candlelight by the fireplace or on the patio in the summer. Snack on feta zesti and sip on a Mykonos cocktail while surrounded with ancient-inspired architecture. 212 S. Halsted St., 312.655.0000
Athenian Room
Athenian Room has been a staple in Lincoln Park since 1972. Serving Greek-American cuisine, the restaurant transports guests to the islands with Mediterranean-inspired interiors and dishes that have been perfected over decades. Don't miss the Taramosalata (Greek caviar) or the popular Shish Kabobs. 807 W. Webster St., 773.348.5155
Avli
Avli offers a delicious mix of traditional and contemporary Greek flavors. At each of the four locations, including Lakeshore East, Lincoln Park, River North and Winnetka, the chefs serve up Mediterranean spreads and mains like Kotopoulo Souvlaki. Pair with an inspired cocktail for the full experience. Multiple locations
