CB2 teams up with Chicago-based fashion designer Azeeza to give us the hottest alfresco collection of the summer.

“My design process is always led by color study,” shares designer Azeeza Khan, adding that she starts a mood board for each season to lead her creative endeavors. And color was indeed the compass in creating her just-released drop: a brilliant capsule collection with home brand CB2.
“I love the tabletop as I love to host dinners and lunches, and the tablescape is so conversational and differentiated from what’s trending in the market right now.”
“The emotions and connections the [collection’s] colors draw felt right for this outdoor collection,” she says. The collab, which marks the first time CB2 will sell an exclusive designer apparel item, resulted in a playfully refined, 37-piece capsule collection, naturally dubbed Color Rush, comprising chic outdoor furniture, table toppers and accessories.
“My favorite and most personable pieces include the silk place mat, coasters and napkins."
“Chicago is my most treasured possession and muse,” Khan adds. “I’m bringing that inspiration into people’s homes everywhere with intentional nods via the wind-whipped amorphous shape of the Windy aluminum nesting table, the Lake Michigan ombre silk napkins and the Lakeshore beach towel that I personally hope to see laying on Oak Street Beach or up north where I grew up in Belmont Harbor.”
"These are designed by myself in Chicago and produced by the same team and process as our dresses.”
Colors already at the heart of the Azeeza brand, such as cobalt, guided this collection. “[We] wove in inspiration found in my hometown, such as a pink I serendipitously found while walking across the street, and the blend of green and cobalt blue reminiscent of its namesake in the Lake Michigan ombre silk napkins,” Khan says. The ’80s-esque pieces are saturated in intense vibrant hues and fuse original designs with CB2’s core products. And as the days get longer and plein-air soirees pick up once again, these selects offer the dose of energy every outdoor area needs this season.
