As we enter the new year with an increased focus on our health, Amanyara in Turks and Caicos expands its Wellness Immersions led by leading practitioners—tempting us all to take time for some serene self-care.
Private coves offer serene moments to soak in the sea.
While only a short flight from most U.S. cities, Amanyara in Turks and Caicos offers a transformative experience through its Wellness Immersions introduced last year.
Private dinners can be arranged surfside.
The offerings are now expanded thanks to new practitioners and experts. Overseen by wellness manager Toby Maguire, the rotating experts range from a renowned Buddhist spiritual master to a clinical psychologist and sleep specialist to tackle all of our modern challenges.
Ranging from 700 to 2,800 square feet, some pavilions have their own private pools.
From Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, Buddhist spiritual master and scholar Geshe YongDong will host a transformative Journey to Peace retreat for those seeking spiritual enrichment and lasting inner tranquility. In April, celebrity fitness coach Don Saladino will reshape both mind and bodies for those seeking to level up their fitness. In June, author and double board-certified clinical psychologist and clinical sleep specialist Dr. Michael J. Breus will help those who want to bio-hack based on their biological chronotype. August will bring Erika Bloom Pilates founder and the beauty behind some of Hollywood’s hottest bodies, Erika Bloom, while October brings one of Hollywood’s leading wellness and reiki experts, Kelsey Patel.
The resort’s refreshed design integrates the indoors and outdoors.
Meaning “peaceful place,” Amanyara offers just that—a welcome retreat for those looking to reset their hectic pace. The immersions follow three pathways based on need: Mindfulness & Stress Management, Weight Management & Transformation, and Detox & Cleansing. The minimum three-day programs are fully customized and include private movement and specialist therapy sessions, spa treatments and personally curated menus. One-day immersion programs are available for those who have limited time, because everyone deserves a moment of “me” time to focus on their health.
Extended stays are now customized for those who wish to work remotely.
Guests will enjoy the property’s 38 recently renovated pavilions as well, serenely nestled on the shores of an 18,000-acre nature reserve. For those who wish to extend their stay, Amanyara’s 30-day At Home with Amanyara program offers a second-home sanctuary in a pavilion or larger villa ready for remote working while families can enjoy educational camps offered in partnership with the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science). With a world-class spa, the leading luminaries of wellness and the best beaches in the Caribbean all on-property, the only challenge left to tackle is sorting out how you will ever leave.
