Now in its 44th year, contemporary dance company Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, one of city’s premier troupes, has taken a big leap, moving its company headquarters to an impressive Michigan Avenue space. The stunning new state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-foot studio on the fourth floor of the iconic Water Tower Place at 835 N. “Moving into a new home is the next step for Hubbard Street’s new beginning after our all-virtual season last year,” notes artistic director Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell. “Our fall series RE/TURN showed Chicago that we were back in business, and taking up residence in Water Tower Place tells the world that we’re here to stay. We are a dance company for the people of Chicago.” Summer Series: RE/UNION, May 12-15, Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph St., hubbardstreetdance.com
