For over 30 years, The James Beard Foundation has celebrated the top culinary talents across the country with the Restaurant and Chef Awards. This year, the nonprofit organization has recognized several establishments and individuals in Chicago for their exceptional talents in food, hospitality and other aspects of the industry, as well as being committed to values such as community, sustainability and equity.
Sujan Sarkar of Indienne is nominated for Best Chef: Great Lakes.
Nominees will be announced on Wednesday, April 3, and on Monday, June 10, the Restaurant and Chef Award winners will be celebrated in a ceremony at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
