The Alzheimer's Association Hosts 34th Annual Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala

The Alzheimer's Association hosted the annual Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala, themed "This is Our Moment," in its 34th iteration at the Hilton Chicago.
WGN-TV and Radio Emmy Award-winning entertainment reporter and critic Dean Richards hosts the 2022 Alzheimer's Association Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala.
Gala founder Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, daughter of actress Rita Hayworth, and Phoebe Stone Nitekman, grandaugther of Alzheimer’s Association founder Jerry Stone, co-chaired the event while Dean Richards, WGN-TV and Radio Emmy Award-winning entertainment reporter and critic, kept the evening rolling as emcee.

Throughout the night, guests, including Joan and Paul Rubschlager, Brian Gaughan and Alzheimer's Association CEO Harry Johns, mingled over a cocktail reception, dinner and a silent auction. They were also treated to incredible performances by the Aloft Circus Group and band Maggie Speaks.

The evening recognized those who champion the Alzheimer's Association's mission: 15-year Illinois Chapter Board Member Dani Jachino received the 2022 Alzheimer’s Association Philanthropy Award. And CNO Financial Group received the 2022 Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Award for its 20-year partnership Forget Me Not Days, a fundraising campaign that benefits the Alzheimer’s Association.

The night was a massive success and achieved the gala's main purpose: to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association’s national care, support and research programs, and to bring awareness to the disease that affects millions.
